Day 4 ☀️ Got Stress?

The beloved watched the world on its knees with an infinite degree of separation. That was something to see.
— Kae West

You might remember the iconic slogan from the ’90s: Got Milk? It was meant to sell us on nourishment. Today, I want to offer you a different kind of nourishment — one that doesn’t come from a carton — and certainly not dairy. 😊

Here’s the practice: Tonight, find a quiet space. Grab some headphones if you have them, and listen to the spoken word track Grace by Kay West. Don’t multitask. Listen deeply and let it enter your field of energy. (Many of you may know it — but even if you’ve heard it before, let it meet you fresh.)

This is an invitation to wake up from separation. To break free from the autopilot hum that steals our days. To soften the fist around your heart and bring forth what’s inside you. Can you allow that connection?

If apathy has crept in and you just want to numb out, let this be your gentle alarm clock: Wake up.

That insidious whisper — If I don’t try, I won’t fail.” Can you hear it? If so, that’s actually hope. That’s awareness. Don’t ignore it — that’s your cue. When you can hear your fear, you can face it. Like the Buddha with Mara, invite it in: Sit down, let’s have tea.

And if you’re thinking, Not me, Alex — I’m passionate, I don’t feel apathetic, I still encourage you to pause. Sometimes even the megaphone of passion hides a tender under-layer. Tonight, maybe your practice is as simple as placing your hand on your heart and taking a few long exhales.

The world is splintering at light speed. Don’t let it splinter you. Choose wholeness — in yourself, in your community, in how you show up. This too is a calling. Don’t let it break you down from believing in your dreams.

This is the nourishment we need right now.
