On Demand - Day 3
Day 3 | Love thy Gut
Today, we delve into the heart of our Yoga Body Cleanse – ‘Body Love.’ This sentiment takes center stage, bringing our focus and care to a place that is often underestimated but profoundly impactful – our gut. And we do this by listening, and being guided by what we hear.
Listening to Our Gut Instincts:
We all have instincts when it comes to our gut. Whether it has to do with making an important decision or sensing when it’s time to change something in our life. We can also listen to our gut when it comes to the foods we eat, the drinks we sip, and the signals around hunger verses craving. Even if you've strayed from your usual dietary protocols, many of you have shared how this experience has provided richer insights and strengthened your instinct to nurture your gut health. We develop a stronger instinct to want to take better care of our gut. This is how the system of eating clean becomes appealing. We become ‘Gut Guided’ and it is an essential aspect of embodiment.
Dr. Farahnik's Wisdom:
Today’s guest panelist Dr. Farahnik, a distinguished Naturopath and Functional Medicine doctor, shared a treasure trove of knowledge about our gut microbiome and the intricate workings of our digestive system. From addressing food sensitivities to uncovering common culprits behind gut microbiome imbalances (Dysbiosis), he also discussed the fascinating correlation between our yoga practice and gut health.
The Invitation:
I wholeheartedly invite you to explore today’s chat with Dr. Farahnik. Take the time to listen or watch the session, allowing the insights to seep into your awareness. Afterward, consider taking pen to paper, journaling any thoughts, reflections, or inspirations that come up for you.
