Hand made in Bali
Inspired by my visit to Bali in 2019 and the rich spirituality & warmth of the Balinese, I designed a line of Malas that are meant to absorb your energy every time you wear them. For my first launch just before Mothers Day, we have the ‘Ripple’ Mala. Ripple is the name of my mom’s favorite Grateful Dead song and so I dedicate this one to you, mama. All of my designs are inspired by music. This one is also dear to me as my word/phrase of 2019 was ‘ripple effect.’ I believe all of our actions and thoughts have a ripple effect and we can really touch others in this way. This is a core value for me as a teacher. My mom's capacity for joy and care for others runs deep. Her love has created a ripple effect in me. And so the song plays on.

Me & Made (pronounced ‘Ma-day’) - our mala maker. During my trip to Bali, I connected with a sweet woman who drove me around. We bonded through chanting, sharing in story, laugher and song. I asked her about malas made in Bali and the sacred rudraksha seeds that are native to the land. She then introduced me to Made. That is how this all started.
