Day 10 ✨ The Jewel Inside You
One of my favorite mantras is Om Mani Padme Hum — the jewel is inside the lotus. It’s about transformation: moving from darkness to light, from heaviness to vitality. The lotus grows through mud and muck, and yet becomes something luminous. And so do you.
Over these ten days, we’ve moved our bodies, nourished our guts, reset patterns, and met ourselves more honestly. Some of you might feel like, “I didn’t do everything right—I missed a class, had a few shots (don’t tell me), I had dessert, I wasn’t perfect.” But this moment is for all of us. Even one pause, one nourishing choice, one mindful breath—that is a jewel inside your lotus.
We’ve also been looking at stress in a new way. The stressors will always be here—life is a shala, a school of sorts, filled with lessons and blessings when we practice adopting this lens. But stress itself—how we respond from within—is shaped deeply by the gut. When we support our gut (our “first brain”), we aren’t just improving digestion—we’re cultivating resilience, clarity, and emotional steadiness.
How we finish things matters. When you pause at the close of this cleanse, you’re reinforcing new neural pathways—teaching your body and brain (both of them!) that you don’t need to pick up every “should” or self-critical thought. You can simply choose again. That’s transformation. That’s luminous living.
