Day 21 |   I Love You, Keep Going!

I often share with you the powerful mantra, 'I love you, keep going.' This guiding principle echoes through our Yoga Body Cleanse, serving not only as a ritual but also as a valuable self-directed practice. In a world where we often engage in unkind self-talk, I encourage you to see the trance when it happens and return to the goodness that is inside of you.  

The first part, 'I love you,' holds potent transformative energy when directed inward.  Making an internal connection to the goodness inside can ignite a flame that will guide you on your path. The second part of the mantra is more nuanced.  It's not a call to relentless pushing, though it might be a nudge to make brave choices and go for it.  Ultimately, it whispers to us to keep going in the direction of taking care of yourself so you can live a vibrant, healthy, and joyful life —a journey that unfolds with self-compassion and mindful well-being.

When we opened the cleanse, we addressed the ritual of starting this practice.  How we begin things really matters. And yes, how we end things also matters.  Taking time to acknowledge our wins and what we have learned is a powerful practice.  It creates a space of appreciation inside of us.  Let's pause and linger in the moment, embracing the notes we've just played without grasping for the next chord.   We need the pause to hear the music.  It reminds us that we are whole without reaching for external fixes.

As we close our Yoga Body Cleanse 9.0, take time to explore your wins and feel into them.  And remember, you are not alone; you're an integral part of this community, and as I've expressed before, I love you. Keep going!

DOABLE NEXT STEPS

  • Wake up 5-10 minutes earlier to allow time to meditate.

  • Plan your week of classes and sign up in advance where appropriate.

  • Join our WhatsApp Yoga Body Cleanse group by sending me your number.

  • Get an Accountability Partner. Check in with them to share your goals and what you plan to do each week.

  • Schedule personal office hours for personal creative work and projects. 

  • Schedule ‘un-structured’ personal time (aka ‘me-time’).  This can be time to do something you enjoy or simply to decompress.  

  • Write a ‘Tools List’ that includes all of the tools that resonated with you on our cleanse.  There may be times you are going through something and you forget you have any tools at all.  You will be able to simply refer back to this list.

Vegan Jackfruit Tacos

A fresh idea on tacos for all our vegan-lovers. Here are a few healthy hacks to this recipe:

  • Swap out the corn tortilla for another gluten free taco made with brown rice or quinoa.

  • Swap out BBQ sauce and saute with your favorite spices.

The mango avocado salsa will add a lot of flavor!
