Day 7 ❍ Soothing Rituals
Hi Yoga Body Cleanse Crew,
We’ve completed our first week together—an ideal time to reflect on where we are in this 21-day journey and in our lives. Typically, at this point, we’re still in the going strong phase—avoiding the vino, backing off the baked goods. But in the midst of an unprecedented crisis, your reality might look more like making a bowl of chili, baking warm cookies, and holding your loved ones close.
We are not A.I.—we’re spiritual beings having a human experience. So, if you feel like you’ve veered off course (and I know many of you do—I see you, only two people did the yoga practice on Friday!), just know that I get it.
No penalty.
But can we gently guide ourselves back onto the beam? Soothing rituals can help us calm the nervous system and reconnect with intention and ease. And if you feel called to redefine your commitment moving forward, share it with me—I’m here to support you!
ACTIONS
Here are a few tools and Ayurvedic practices to soothe your soul tonight and in the days ahead:
Neti Pot: A natural way to clear your sinuses and flush out toxins from the air.

Warm Bath: Add your favorite bath salts for an extra touch of relaxation.
Aromatherapy: Use a favorite scent for grounding and calm. My go-tos: the complete chakra set by David Elliott (my breathwork teacher). I also love eucalyptus spray in the shower, grapefruit in the morning, and lavender in the evening.
5 Deep Breaths to Sleep: As you lay down tonight, take 5 deep belly breaths. Let each inhale expand your belly and each exhale release stress.
Today is also a wonderful time to revisit any of the week's journaling prompts or reflections you may have missed.
