WILD SERENITY: ZION
YOGA · MEDITATION · NATURE · ADVENTURE
May 20—23, 2027
Zion National Park, Utah
Come Alive in the Wild
Four days to step into something extraordinary.
There are places that invite us to see things differently.
Surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs, flowing water and vast desert sky, Wild Serenity: Zion is a four-day immersion in movement, mindfulness, nature and adventure.
We’ll begin our days with yoga and meditation, explore the extraordinary landscape of Zion, gather around beautiful meals, and make space for the practices that bring us back into our bodies—and back to ourselves.
There will be adventure. There will be stillness. There will be laughter, connection, incredible food and time simply to take it all in.
This is Wild Serenity

One day together. One day your way.
Part of the magic of retreat is sharing an experience together. Part of it is having the freedom to follow what calls you.
We'll spend one day exploring Zion through a shared guided experience designed for our group.
On another, choose your own adventure—perhaps canyoneering, an e-bike ride, another hike or simply a slower day to wander, rest and enjoy Springdale.
Adventure when you want it. Space when you need it.
Our private home at the edge of Zion.
For three nights, we'll have Nama-Stay entirely to ourselves—a peaceful private retreat property in Springdale, just minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park.
Tucked beneath the red-rock landscape, Nama-Stay gives us something I especially value on retreat: the ability to come together when we want to—and find space when we need it.
Our home includes private cabins and spacious suites, a dedicated yoga and meditation studio, communal gathering spaces, outdoor patios and a beautiful pavilion where we'll share meals.
And when you want to wander, Springdale is just a few minutes away on foot.

Reserve Your Room
A $1,000 non-refundable deposit reserves your room. The balance is split into two payments, due January 8 and February 8, 2027. Bookings made after February 8 are paid in full.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be requested by email to hello@alexdawsonyoga.com and take effect when received, by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the dates below.
By January 7, 2027: refund of all payments except the $1,000 deposit.
January 8 to February 7, 2027: refund of all payments except the deposit and 50% of the remaining balance.
From February 8, 2027: no refund.
This policy applies to all cancellations for any reason, including illness, injury, family or pet emergencies, travel disruptions, or changes in personal plans. We strongly recommend Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance to protect your investment.
Transfers
Participants who can't attend may arrange for someone to take their place, with approval from Wild Serenity Retreats. Finding a replacement is the participant’s responsibility. For shared rooms, the roommate must also approve. Any payment between the two participants is arranged privately between them.
Travel Insurance
Because our cancellation policy is strict, we strongly recommend travel insurance with Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage. CFAR plans usually must be purchased within 14 days of your first deposit, so we suggest arranging it right after booking.
Coming Solo? Find a Roommate
If you’d like a shared room but don’t have a roommate yet, email us when you book and we’ll do our best to pair you. Most guests who request a roommate are matched, and many leave as friends.
If a roommate isn’t confirmed by February 8, 2027, your reservation will convert to a private room at the private rate. If a roommate joins later, your rate will adjust to the shared rate.
A friendly note: if you snore, please share that with good intent so your potential roommate can make an informed choice. A little honesty goes a long way!
Changes to the Retreat
In the unlikely event of government restrictions or circumstances beyond our control, we will first attempt to reschedule the retreat or offer credit toward a future retreat. Refunds, if any, will depend on the recoverable portion of vendor payments.
If Alex is unable to teach due to illness or circumstances beyond her control, a qualified substitute teacher will lead in her place, and the retreat will continue as planned.
Practice that meets the moment.
Our practices will move with the rhythm of the retreat.
Some mornings will be energizing. Some evenings will ask us to slow down.
We'll explore yoga, meditation, breathwork, Fascia Flow and restorative practices—not as another thing to accomplish, but as ways of becoming more present for everything around us.
And one evening, I'll transform our practice space for a full immersive sound bath—an invitation to rest, receive and simply be.
“The retreat was unforgettable, and I always felt well taken care of. Alex’s attention to detail, positive attitude, and passion for creating a great experience really stood out. I would absolutely recommend traveling with her and would gladly book another trip in the future.”
Your Retreat Leader ~ Alex Dawson
I've been leading retreats since 2007, and after more than 40 retreat experiences around the world, I still believe there is something extraordinary about what happens when we step away from our routines and immerse ourselves in epic nature together.
FAQ’s
-
Wild Serenity is for people who love yoga—or are curious to explore it more deeply—and feel inspired by nature, adventure, and meaningful connection. It's for those who want to move, breathe, explore, and step outside their everyday routines. People who appreciate a beautiful meal around a shared table, an unexpected adventure, a great conversation, and plenty of laughter along the way.
You don't need to be an expert yogi or a hardcore adventurer. Just bring your curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to participate.
Come for the yoga. Come for Zion. Come ready to feel alive.
-
Move like you love your body.
Wild Serenity Yoga Flow is Alex's signature approach to practice—an evolving blend of breathwork, mindful alignment, flowing movement, and fascia-opening techniques.
Rather than moving simply to achieve a pose, the practice invites you to move with curiosity and awareness—building strength and mobility while creating more space and freedom in your body.
Each practice is shaped by the energy of the day and the people in the room.
-
Wild Serenity welcomes a range of yoga experience, with options offered throughout our practices.
Because this is a flow-based practice, you should be comfortable bearing some weight on your hands and wrists and moving between standing and seated positions with relative ease.
You don't need to be especially flexible or master advanced poses. The spirit is simple: move like you love your body.
-
Our included guided Zion experience will accommodate a range of abilities, with smaller groups where appropriate. Some walking and uneven terrain should be expected.
On our free adventure day, you can choose an optional guided experience with Zion Guru, such as canyoneering or an e-bike ride, at an additional cost, at your own expense——or explore independently or simply relax at Nama-Stay.
