21-Day Yoga Body Cleanse

REPLAY

I feel so much stronger, not only in my yoga, but just in life, in breath, in daily things that I bump up against. I have so much less anxiety in general. I recommend Alex’s cleanse to anyone who needs extra love, accountability, expansion, and growth.
— Jennifer Tracy

Commitment Leads to Transformation

There are many reasons why we have trouble staying committed. The problem is that we keep writing down lofty goals and signing up for things without enough clear guidance and tangible support. I am here to help you with that. Let’s get started!

21 Days of Yoga

Join us for a transformative 21 Days of Yoga—a series welcoming practitioners of all levels. With a variety of class lengths, there's flexibility to fit your schedule. Post-class themed discussions enhance your cleansing experience, exploring deeper aspects of what it means to cleanse. We explore alignment of behavior, patterns of thought, tendencies and habits.

Grab your Yoga Tune Up Balls, a strap and 2 blocks as props, and bring a journal for insightful writing prompts during our post-session talks. Join us for a rejuvenating journey on the mat, where all are invited to explore and embrace the practice of cleansing through yoga.

My inflammation went away by eliminating certain foods and I had more clarity and energy. The group dynamic is incredibly supportive and helped me be accountable in a safe space.

Feel Great Now

It’s time to live our lives. It’s time to start fresh. It’s time to feel the gifts of being alive in our bodies and to create a clear channel so that all inspiration can come through. To get started on our journey together, here are a few suggestions to prepare.

Check out The Clean Program and their recommended guide on how to prepare which includes a shopping list for all the foods we will enjoy on our cleanse.  As well, they outline a more comprehensive list of foods to avoid.

During a cleanse, we off-load many toxins. Doing a ‘pre-cleanse’ can help this transition. As we reset healthy habits, the body will start to feel more energized

The central intention of the Yoga Body Cleanse is Body Love.
— Alex Dawson

Why Cleanse?

We may not have control over everything, but one thing we can take charge of is our capacity for body love. This is the central intention of our cleanse: Body love. We begin by loving our body even if there are things we want to change about it so it feels healthier. We recognize that a cleanse can be a loving act of self care.

Cleansing is an excellent way to reignite healthy patterns in our body that help fight inflammation, give us energy and help our body and brain function improve tremendously.

I’ve been doing the Clean Program since 2009. (See my testimonial). I feel great every time I do it. I love that we eat whole foods and I always have enough energy. The Yoga Body Cleanse program is designed to facilitate a total body reset in the most nourishing way.

Personally, I can easily slip into old habits without a practice. I’ll reach for too much sugar and wheat in my diet when really I simply want to feel better inside. I know I’m not alone. We don’t just need healthy habits. We need each other. We need community. Let’s do this together.

Alex is one of the most warm and welcoming yoga instructors I have ever taken from. She exudes enthusiasm and has a radiant energy. The cleanse was fun — the group was incredible. She has my highest recommendation.

FAQ’s

How hard is the yoga? I’m kind of a beginner?

All levels are welcome! At the same time, you will need to have facility in your body to hold your body weight in a plank pose and some other poses. You will also need to be able to move from standing to the floor with good ability.

What if I have to miss a class?

This is self-paced challenge. The challenge is to do one class by the end of each day. If you skip a day, what really matters is that you begin again.

Will I be hungry?

One of the primary tenets of this cleanse is to eat when hungry. We also suggest a minimum 12-hour window between your last meal at night and first meal in the morning. This is to assist your bodies digestive process. In the beginning, you may feel some hunger if your body is accustomed to having a lot of sugar.

Will you provide a meal plan?

While we do not assign a set menu of meals, we will provide resources to find good recipes during the Yoga Body Cleanse program.

Do I have to do the Clean Kit from the Clean Program?

No. You can simply follow the clean eating protocols if you prefer.

What are Yoga Tune Up balls? Why do I need to order them?

These are myofascial massage therapy balls. We will use them in several classes. While we are cleansing, we move toxins in the body. Working with the fascia in yoga allows us to have a deeper experience of the cleanse. So, yes. Get your balls!

I’ve struggled with an eating disorder in the past, if I do the ‘Clean and True’ plan, do you think I’ll be okay?

I warmly welcome everyone to our program, emphasizing the significance of creating a safe and supportive space for all participants. If you have a history of eating disorders, I encourage you to consult with a healthcare professional, therapist, and/or support group sponsor to determine whether this program is suitable for your current well-being. Your health and comfort are our top priorities, and we want to ensure that this experience is positive and empowering for you.
